Sharing Stories Through Text

We encourage you to share your story any way possible. By clicking on the "My Account" link at the top right of the site, you can access your personal information. This is where you will enter information viewed by other users, including a narrative explaining your journey of survival, as well as your personal login information not accessible to anyone else.
Here is an outline of how to use this form:
1. Once you are at your Account view, click on the "Biography" tab at the top of your profile.
2. In the field labeled "Body," please enter the text for your story.
3. You can add images to your profile for you and other users to see (using the instructions below), as well as video. These can change as often as you prefer.
4. When you are finished entering your information, click "Submit" at the bottom. If you're not sure of your additions/changes, there is a "Preview" option to show you exactly how your information will be displayed.

To Add an Image:

1. Click on the "My Account" link on the top right of the site. This will again bring you to your profile information.
2. Click on the "Biography" tab on the top of your profile view.
3. There is an area that says "Photo" under "Account Basics." If none of these options are showing, click the arrow to the left of "Account Basics" and your information will appear.
4. Click on the "Browse" button to search for the image you'd like to upload. Note: This image must be somewhere on your computer or on a CD/DVD/Disk inserted in the drive on the computer you are currently using to upload.
5. Once you have found the image you'd like to use, click "Open." The path will be visible in the Photo box.
6. Click the "Upload" button under the box. This will take a few minutes for the site to upload and display the image you have chosen. Once you are finished, you can click "Preview" or "Submit" at the bottom of your profile page.

This image can be changed as often as you like.
