LIFE "ON THE OTHER SIDE OF CANCER"

I am a

Survivor in Remission

Age at Diagnosis

31

Diagnosed

February 1999

What was the most important lesson you learned?

That I needed to go more slowly.

What would you like to tell other women who are either newly diagnosed or too afraid to seek treatment?

Stay positive and be proactive. It is your decision to get treatment and if you don’t do anything about it, then the disease will not go away.

Best advice given to me by a Survivor

Do what you want to do! You can be sick at home or sick out doing what you love.
