Sharing Stories Through Text
If you would rather share your story of survival through text and photo, you can do that on our site. By visiting the Share Your Story page, you can add a narrative to the site explaining your journey of survival. Here is an outline of how to use this form:
1. Enter a title for your story.
2. In the field labeled "Body", please enter the text for your story.
3. You can add images to your story by clicking the "add images" button located at the bottom of the field labeled "body". The "add images button" looks like this:

To Add an Image:
1. Click the "add images" button. Make sure you do not have pop-ups blocked on your web browser. A pop-up window that looks like this will appear:
2. If you have never uploaded an image on livingconversations, the window will say that "no images were  found". If you have previously uploaded an image, the images you have uploaded will appear in this  window. Click "Upload a new image".
3. Give your image a title.
4. Click "browse" and find the image you would like to upload on your computer.
5. Leave the "body" field blank.
6. Click "submit".
7. The next screen will tell you that your image has been created. You will have options for the placement of the image in your story. Leave the "title" and "description" fields blank. Choose which version of your image you would like to display (thumbnail is recommended).
8. Choose how you would like your photo to be aligned in your text.
9. Leave the "link" and "insert modes" set as they are.
10. Click "insert". Your image will be inserted using HTML code.

Click "preview" to preview your story, or "submit" to submit your story to the site.
